My insidious plans to control the world rely upon Orbital Mind-Control Lasers, and recent work in that area is proving most promising. Of course, one needs to choose a gene that makes just the right set of neurons susceptible to a frequency of light that can permeate the skull. Perhaps X-Rays? Then we need to get that gene into everyone. GMO foods seem like the best bet to me for that...

So, its not ready yet, but its all starting to fall into place.
