Rebel Sinuses
Dec. 17th, 2007 05:19 amCall me a wimp, but I find that I need to be able to breathe in order to sleep. With this cold, and the way my sinuses are clogged, I'm finding it nigh impossible for me to sleep. The normal frustrating way a cold works for me is that my sinuses drain when I'm upright, and clog when I lay down, and the secret is to be tired enough that I fall asleep in that short interval between laying down and not being able to breathe.
Right now, despite dosing myself with a number of patent cures, my sinuses won't unclog even if I'm upright. If I can't get them working soon, I'll resort to taking an extra-hot shower, and just hope I don't wake any of our houseguests up while doing so.
