Another Catch-22
Jun. 11th, 2005 01:53 pmHere's another catch-22 I find myself in. Its currently sweltering in my office (as usual). So much so that I have no energy and can barely think. If it were cooler I could conceivably get some work done. As is, I find it an effort to move.
Now, downstairs in the entry hall (which we refer to as the 'cat lock'), is a brand new air conditioner for my office (thanks to my Mommy). If I had the energy to haul it upstairs and to clear away the boxes by the window, I could set it so that it would be cool in here. If I did all that, it would conceivably be cool enough for me to have the energy to do all that work. As is, I can only think about the amount of effort it would take, and groan.
