Job Blahs

I had a bad experience at work today. If there is one thing you can do to push my buttons, it is to distort what I said, and then try to hold me to the distortion.

Now that I've calmed down and I've seen evidence that my immediate superior IS going to go to bat for me on this one, things don't look so dire. I really don't want to have to quit my new job, but I'm not about to allow myself to become a doormat either. We'll just have to wait and see what the rest of the week brings, but I may want to update my resume, just in case.

Oh, and it looks like I've caught taxlady's cold, on top of everything else.

Good for you! If alarm bells are going off this early on, now is the time do something about it! I'm not suggesting you quit your job, but don't let them treat you like crap and put up with it!

Cold = sucky; not being a doormat and boss going to bat = awesome. Hope it all balances out a bit.
