I awoke this morning with rather stiff legs. This makes no sense to me. Over the last week I've been doing lots of stair climbing and it never bothered my legs. I've also been walking far more than I'm currently used to. Not a complaint. On thursday I went bowling for the first time in years and hurled large heavy balls down the lanes while doing strange leg-bendy postures. I expected to wake up with sore arms and legs after that, but I didn't.

Then, yesterday I played billiards and then went to a bar and oggled cleavage. Today I woke up with my inner thighs extremely sore. Huh?

It could honestly be a delayed reaction from the bowling...sometimes I find it can take a while for the muscles to overcome their disbelief at having been called upon before they start to complain :)

It usually takes 2 days for the soreness to really settle in. Unless you have really overdone it, then you are toasted the same day almost. It's all the micro-tears in the muscles healing - and building new muscles.
Plus Taxlady beat the bejeazus out of you while you were sleeping for oogling all the cleavage, and it took a while for her to get the perfect opportunity to do so. No surprises, this type of thing happens to me all the time. ^_^
