So, sometimes one gets the urge to deface Wikipedia so that it would be somewhat more, amusing to read. There's two problems with that idea though. Firstly, its irresponsible and immature, and secondly it won't work because the editors will just undo what you did.

So, what we need is a Wackypedia who's editorial bent is the promotion of HUMOROUS entries. It might even take off.

I think it's basically just a matter of getting a suitable domain, create a simple yet nifty layout for it and create a short and very precise mission statement.

After that you just have to slashdot the site and hope your server doesn't blow up ;-)

I think Wachypedia is a great name and a great idea.
