I am awake in the A.M. I actually don't mind. I haven't been getting anywhere enough sleep lately so last night I crashed around 9:00 pm and slept through to 7:00 am. That's enough sleep that I woke up feeling refreshed and (somewhat) caught up, but not so much as to give myself a migraine.
Meanwhile the snow seems to have stopped falling after the huge dump we got yesterday, and the snowplows are hard at work out there. The plan for today, once I've managed to fully wake up, is to do a bunch of cleaning in preparation for a small dinner party tonight. This will also serve as a practice-run for the large Yule party we'll be having in a bit over a week.
In other news, restoration of Webigail is advancing. I am now trying to figure out what has changed in the configuration files so that it doesn't serve mail. Once I've got that working I'll turn back on the feature that lets it receive mail, and we'll see if that's working.
Now, all of the various bits of software SHOULD all be working since the only place we lost any files was the /var data directory, but I was forced to upgrade to the latest version of Mandriva in order to get things to boot, and its seems that a fair number of programs now have completely different configuration systems which I'll have to figure out.
