After having spent most of my time since last Friday helping to deal with a WorldCon crisis in another department, I was finally today given the go-ahead to go and have some fun.
So, the plan is to have a shower, get some breakfast into me, and head down to the convention center for early registration for staff. I don't know if they'll let me pick up the reg packet for![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
taxlady at the same time, as she's not staff, but its certainly going to be worth a try.
I know I haven't been posting much here lately. I've been going through a bit of a dry spell in posting. That will probably pick up after the con, but for the moment its going to get worse as I won't have a laptop with me there and the number of computers in the lounge is going to be small (most folks these days having laptops with wifi).
One of the nice things about being infrastructure staff for the website is that by the time the con starts, my work is essentially DONE. Only if there is some major crisis with the site will I have to do anything over the next few days, so I can just go and enjoy myself.
