For them what bands.
Mar. 23rd, 2007 11:48 amFor those on my f-list who are musicians and/or are in bands, you may want to check out BandZoogle. They're a Montreal-based website backed by Donald K. Donald with the intent of making it fast and easy for a starting band to have a web presence. To the best of my knowledge, neither Invisible nor Random Colour have websites. This may be a way to get some.
Stage 2 Complete!
Mar. 23rd, 2007 03:27 pmSo, we once more have a basement. The walls have been put back, and we have gyprock and doors and everything. The construction guys finished the plastering and painting of the stucco today and got paid.
Stage 3 will consist of giving the space a serious cleaning (sanding of plaster has left a thick coat of dust on everything) followed by painting. We saved a few bucks by deciding to do the paint ourselves. It also meant we could hold off on choosing colors.
Stage 4 is to tell the carpet guys that they can come and install the carpet. That should only take them one day of work.
Stage 5 comes next where we ask the storage company for our stuff back and start organizing the basement into its final form. I am somewhat worried about that as we have deliberately given ourselves far less storage space than we previously had. We're gonna have to do some careful planning and/or purging to get everything to fit when we're done.
