Last night I dreamed that a local discount store was selling female androids for $2 each, so I bought three. At that price it seemed hard to go wrong. They would be useful for cooking, cleaning and ahem, extra curricular activiites.

Thing went very well at first until I discovered that one of them had a glitch that made her unable to recognize me whenever I picked up a book. Every time I did, she would freak out and assume she had been stolen. I had fun picking up and putting down books watching her freak out repeatedly, and then I discovered that every time she freaked out she called in a theft report to the police using her wireless internet capability.

The next thing I knew the place was swarming with cops. Things were quickly sorted out, but then they needed to dismantle my mainframe because it seems it was being attacked by some sort of alien parasite or something.

I think that will teach me to watch Torchwood just before bed.

Here's an interesting article on the Biology of B-Movie Monsters. Now, I fear that my mind must be too highly trained, since I've known most of these facts since I was in high school, but its obvious that most movie makers don't know them or, more likely, simply don't care.
