I just woke up after 5 hours sleep with my sinuses completely congested. I'm staying upright long enough for them to drain, and then I'm heading back to bed.

I stand corrected.

I've often told folks that there is no term for my stance on the existence of God. The fact is, I've always assumed that somewhere in the philosophical world, someone else has held the same views and that there probably is a term for it, but I've never known one. Well, today I did some Googling, and it would seem that I am an Ignostic. My only proviso is that I approach Ignosticism from the point of view of a Falsificationist (see especially the Theism section) and not that of a Logical Positivist.

To summarize my views, I'll paraphrase someone on the extropian's mailing list: Statements about the existence of God are so meaningless they aren't even wrong.

Someone has made a toy car that transforms into a walking robot and back again. Its not a brilliant design, but its a start!

An Observation:

When one has been awake long enough to be feeling quite sleepy and has just had three glasses of wine is NOT the best time to try to understand a piece of densly-packed and uncommented PERL code that sps wrote some five years ago.

I guess Rexpolo will have to wait just a bit longer before being reborn.
