I should be asleep.

I even gave it a try -- went to bed and everything. No dice though. So, now I'm having a bit of cheese, and checking mail and stuff before once more taking a shot at it.

So, Anheuser-Busch is going to give the world what it so richly deserves: B^(E). This concoction is flavored with caffeine, guarana and ginseng, and is being marketted as a sweeter, kickier beer. *shudder*

Morning Amusements.

This slashdot article talks about the US Military's research into antimatter-based weapons. The story it links to describes the power stored in 1 gram of antimatter as being equivalent to 23 space shuttle fuel tanks of energy. Now, that being a rather unusual unit of measurement, the slashdot folks decided to convert it to more usual measures.

Thus, it was found that, 1 gram of antimatter can liberate as much energy as:

• a 39 Kiloton bomb
• 33,000 6-ton elephants dropped from a height of 100km.
• .032 Burning Libraries of Congress

Research is still being done on how many football-fields worth of destruction that is...

Not Writing.

There are a number of things I would like to write about, but its just not happening. I'll get up from the computer and go get some coffee or something, and while I'm there topics and phrases and all sorts of ideas race through my head on the subjects I want to discuss. By the time I get back here and sit down though, I'm a complete blank.

I'm not quite sure why its happening like this, but I find it very irritating indeed.
