Subtle Mornings.

I've been up for a while now because, by some coincidence, my morning happened to occur 'in the morning' today. One of those little subtle distinctions English is famous for.

Anyway, I woke up and saw that some movies I had left being resampled overnight were done, so I burned them to CD. Then I discovered that my Net connection was down, and rebooted my server. I think the connection was down because Bell is STILL doing upgrades to the ADSL lines, despite claiming it would be all done by March 1st. In fact, as far as I can tell, they didn't start doing any disruptive upgrades until the 2nd or 3rd. So, if from time to time my web site is down or I'm not answering e-mail, that will be the reason.

Good morning! Or late night, by now. I've been doing a little more weblogging myself these days and have changed to a new file, which is at http://www.geocities.com/jameswi.geo/Personal/Blog0000001.htm (six zeroes). Of course you don't have to read my entries on "Atlas Shrugged"; perhaps I should have put them on my political site. In fact I may copy them there sometime.
