swestrupI was really hoping I'd be better by today, but I'm not. Back when I was still in California, Linda bought me a $50 ticket to a fancy Danish feast thats tonight. It sounded like lots of fun, and I was really looking forward to it, but I'm in no shape to go.

taxlady won't be all alone as sultrysong is going too, but its a great shame my ticket will go to waste. I don't suppose anyone on my friend's list is available tonight on this short notice to go to the feast?
It has not escaped me that, as lonely and isolated as I was feeling in California, at least I could go outside and meet random people. Right now I'm too sick to go anywhere or do anything. Much as I love being back together withtaxlady, I would really prefer to go out and meet some of my other friends!
