Sunday Morning.

swestrupWell, okay, its not quite so morning any more, but I have yet to go out for breakfast, so I figure it counts.
I woke up earlier than planned today, because my brain was trying to have a migraine. Unlike last time I had a brain cramp, this one was rather unexpected. However, it was also easily caught in time and a few pills and lots of coffee later, I feel fine.
I've been using what time I have left here to do a whole bunch of last-minute things. Yesterday I went shopping for a nice new piece of luggage to help me carry stuff home in. It had always been my plan to do so, when the time came, but I found myself somewhat reluctant to spend the money, despite the fact that our household could use more luggage, and hauling home what I have now in just my garment bag would have been very difficult, not to mention the extra weight of any booze or extras I bring back.

wintersweet and assaultdoor and we went out for a supper of Ramen and then on to a local gaming store. I see that hero games has a bunch more supplements out that I would like to buy...
The only thing that got purchased at the game store was a deck of Fluxx cards, which we then put to good use in a coffee shop. We played for an hour or so, and then they dropped me and my new luggage off at base camp here. Good times.
In other news, I find myself yearning to be home again. Not just for the obvious reasons that I misstaxlady and all my friends terribly, but because my existance here no longer has any set purpose. I'm not working now, but the work I did do has inspired me to revisit some of my previous project ideas. In particular, I think I want to resurrect my old GUS project as a boost library. (I could swear I discussed GUS here on LJ at some point, but I can't currently find those posts. Anyway its an idea on how to do a better graphics library.)
