Where did yesterday go?

swestrupI'm just now waking up, because I was inadvertently awake for close to 24 hours, because I installed a new video game. I spent most of Christmas day playing Half-Life 2. No, not the Orange Box, the version of HL2 that came out 5 years or so ago. This is the first time I've had a computer that was actually capable of playing the game, so I decided to try it out Christmas morning as a small present to myself.
The next thing I knew it was 3:00 am and I'd spent the vast majority of the day playing the game. The only time off I took was a 2-hour break to watch "Pirates of the Caribbean" with![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
taxlady as neither of us had seen it before.
I guess its what I'm going to spend the rest of today doing as well, since things are a bit slow here at the moment, and I haven't really spent much time on a game in ages.
