Figures.

For a lark I took the spark gendertest. They said I was definitely female. They claim that my answers were 80% female, 20% male. I think that being a non-violent male threw them for a loop. Since I was there, I also took the gayness test and scored 22%. That I'll buy, since I normally self-rate as a Kinsey 1.

I also found an article that claims that LiveJournal turns normal internet denizens into mindless quiz takers... They may be right.

Hm, interesting.

I'm female with 86% confidence. In the 1D graph it puts me fairly close to neutral, maybe 60/40, but in the 2D plot it puts me up at the top, far from other blue dots.

I must admit that in at least half of the questions I was, like, whatever.

As for gayness, I'm another 22. Go figure; I can't imagine what you would do to feel less gay than I do (assuming I'm male; assuming I'm female, I can't imagine what you'd do to feel more gay than I do).

Ok, I checked. If I'm female, I'm evidently 61% gay. My faith in these tests is diminishing...!

The spark? bah.

The spark traditionally gets me wrong. I've taken their gender test at least 3 times over as many years and each time it's classified me as a male with somewhere around 80% accuracy, though it places me near the middle of the chart.

The gayness test was also odd in its results. Being bi, I have to take it twice and then interpret the numbers. Ahh, well.

So, the end result is, I've yet to find a spark quiz I liked.

Well, philosophically speaking, I'd be amazed and disturbed if any of these things turned out to mean much at all. So I guess I'm not complaining when I say that they're useless.

Plus, of course, huh? Are any of these things in any doubt? I mean, I tihnk I have a fair amount of direct information about myself and my proclivities without seeking external opinons ;-).

So the test says that I'm 84% male. So, is anyone surprised? The gayness test claims I'm 49% gay, well, duh.
