Upon returning from Sandy's Grad Bash I found I had the first mosquito bite of the season. And the 2nd, 3rd, fourth, fifth and so on up to ... 12 or so, I think.
Mosquito bites typically don't bother me-- whether I have a natural repulsive effect to them or do not react to their venom I do not know-- but this weekend I find myself polkadotted as the result of no-see-ums.
As you're in Canada, you should be able to find this: Bactine spray. It's an antiseptic AND an anaesthetic, the benefit being you don't have to touch the bites with your fingers. Sure beats yucky calamine lotion.
