Another Essay Written.

Today's essay was just posted to my [livejournal.com profile] technaut journal. It can be found here. I'm finding the [livejournal.com profile] technaut articles to be far easier to write than the ones for [livejournal.com profile] willcodeforfood.

I'm adding these to my RSS feed instead of my friends list - you're not going to make any friendslocked posts to them, are you?

Even if he did, all you need to do is add "?auth=digest" to the end of the RSS URI, and it'll make your RSS aggregator log into LJ.

How does my RSS aggregator get my LJ password? I use bloglines - I don't want to *give* them my password!

Oh, you use some remote aggregator? Used to use one, I find them to be hardly any better than going on various web pages myself. Why not use your LJ friends page, has bloglines got anything better over it?

It's not flat. I don't want slashdot headlines mixed into my friends page - I want to click "slashdot" and scan them quickly.

Very interesting idea. There's the social standing aspect, and then there's the fact that human beings are competitive by nature, and will compete to be 'the best at' or 'the top of' anything; no matter what the 'thing' is.
