Doing Atkins Correctly -- Tip #47:

    Read all of the Atkins book, including the glossary at the back. Boy was my face red when I finally discovered, 6 weeks after starting the program, that carb is NOT short for Carborundum!

Of course not! It's short for carburetor.

Nah - Carbs is short for carbonates....that's why most sodas are not allowed on Atkins.
