I just wanted to mention that while I was shopping today I noticed that a local cheese shop is selling something labelled as "Cornish Yarg".

I wonder if its like the Australian Yeargh that my friend _sps_ invented. That is a 50/50 mixture of marmite and crushed wake-up pills and, IIRC, is supposed to be used as a coffee whitener.

Anyway, at over $40 a kilo, I wasn't about to do a taste comparison.

Ah, so its the Cornish Yarg that would use Marmite? I find the two substances so similar in their inedibility that I often confuse them...
