And so it begins.

I just saw taxlady off on the first leg of her trip to Denmark. She's driving down to Boston, flying from there to Paris, and then on to Copenhagen. She'll be arriving some time around 3:00 pm local time on the 19th or 20th (I'm too sleepy to work it out).

I'll be catching a flight to join her around the 27th, which will seem like ages while I'm waiting.

I miss her already.

Awake.

Awake again after too little sleep. I was woken by a phone call from taxlady who made it to Boston way ahead of schedule and is now sitting and reading her book until its time to head to the airport.

I, on the other hand, could not get to sleep. I think I'm going to stay up until something like 6:00 pm, and then try to get a proper nights sleep. I hope that plan works, cause I am WAAAY overtired now.

Revelation:

Sunday afternoon TV is a wasteland. Too bad I'm so loopy from sleep deprivation that I'm not good for much else. Right now the idea that I'll have to take out the garbage this evening is looming like a monumental task.

Just Heard from Taxlady.

She's waiting for her plane at the Boston Airport. She's got a few hours to wait though, so she's just sitting and reading a book. She says "Hi!" to all the internets.
