Steampunk Dress-Up.

It seems that taxlady and I have been invited to a steampunk event in mid-October at our favorite watering hole. The only problem is that we don't currently have any costume ideas. Does anyone have any ideas for things I could do that would be reasonably fast, reasonably cheap, and reasonably easy?

This was our first attempt at putting together a steampunk murder mystery event, so we've tried to keep a control on who shows up. But any friend of swestrup can be a friend of mine!
