Ooog.
I'm awake, and not feeling wonderful. I suspect that thats mainly due to the several ounces of rum I drank last night in an attempt to relax enough to sleep. Sometime around 5:00 AM I finally dozed off. I have no idea why I get these bouts of unable-to-sleep-ness. taxlady got tired of waiting for me to get up and is already in the basement painting some stuff we missed, and doing second coats where needed. I helped her at first by using my Manly Muscles™ to pull some intransigent nails, but she sent me away saying I needed to drink some coffee. She was right.
By the time I've had coffee and breakfast, etc. she'll no doubt be done with that chore. So instead today I shall install a scanner both to helptaxlady with document scanning for the rush of tax season, and because I'll need it for the ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
april_drawing challenge which starts tomorrow. I also need to set up a wiki to hold the drawings as I do them. I know I could just upload them to Flickr or something, but they'll be in aid of a specific project I have in mind, so I want to have a project wiki set up for them.
Finally, its about time I sent out some CVs. I've been meaning to do that since early January, and its been One Bloody Thing After Another which has interfered with that.
