I was watching a nifty YouTube video about how Oobleck behaves under standing waves, when suddenly, around the 2-minute mark, who should appear in the bowl but Shub-Niggurath. I hadn't expected Lovecraftian horrors to appear during a simple science experiment, but then, one never does, does one?
