Awake.

Well, I'm now awake, at roughly the time I planned to be, so the rotate the hours thing seems to have worked so far.

Today's plan is to head into town, visit the library and then relax. If friends are available, I'll hang with them, otherwise I'll sit in a cafe somewhere and read.

Tonight there's a meeting of the local Transhumanism group that I should attend, if I'm not too sleepy by then.  We'll see.

So, it looks like the policy at this place is for the terminals on the lower floors to be able to do onsite access only, while the terminals on the upper floors allow you to read LJ, or access your webmail, or whatever.

Anyway, I have discovered since arriving that Fido has some sort of network outage, so folks trying to contact me, or me contacting them, by cell is not going to happen. I can`t even get through to customer support, because there is something like a 45 minute wait on line.

Speaking of on line, their web page (which the phone system recommends you use instead) keeps generating errors, probably because its overloaded.
