That's not necessarily an LJ tradition. Yes, I most definitely refer to practically everybody who does not have an LJ by single letter names. That's just the kind of person I am. Not all my friends do the same, some name names, and others assign letters. *shrug* Potato, potahto.

Good luck on your quest, and if you find the phone number, call and tell him you had lost it for so long... don't let the fear of what he'll think hinder you. That's my unsolicited advice.
